How to Optimize your Blog RSS Feeds and Emails: Ideal Feedbuner Settings!
First of all login to your Google Feedbuner Account, click on your site feed and Now do the following as listed below-
1. Go to Optimize and then activate services like BrowserFriendly, SmartFeed and FeedFlare. See below for more information.
a) BrowserFriendly: Make it easy for potential subscribers to preview and subscribe to your text or podcast feed. Applies clean visual formatting to the eyesore of raw feed XML for much improved readability in all modern web browsers.
b) SmartFeed: It Translates your feed on-the-fly into a format (RSS or Atom) compatible with your visitors’ feed reader application.
c) FeedFlare: It make social media icons appearing on your RSS feeds to more socialize your post content. Now select your favorite Social Media Sites there.
2. Now head to Feed Image Burner and set you desired logo and link of your website or blog to display in feeds.
3. Then visit Title/Description Burner just below it and your Site Title and short Description there to show in Email Deliveries.
4. Go to Publicize and then activate services like BuzzBoost, Email Subscriptions, PingShot, Feed Count and Socialize. See below for more information on it.
a) BuzzBoost: It republishes your burned feed’s content as go-anywhere HTML
b) Email Subscriptions: Another way to keep up with your blog or podcast feed by placing an email subscription form on your site. It helps you send site blog posts updates via Email.

e) Socialize: Add your twitter account there to post articles updates to your Twitter page automatically.
5. Now go to Creative Commons and Choose your essential settings to create your Copyright license and show on RSS Feeds for Copyright Protection.
6. Hence the last very important part to do is Email delivery Settings:
a) Hit Email Subscriptions Under Publicize, Go to Email branding and here you have to set your sent mail Title, Subject and Logo. Just fill ${latestItemTitle} : Title in Email Subject/Title. Replace Title with your Site/Blog Title. for ex- ${latestItemTitle} : Blogging Ways. Also don’t forgot to paste the link of your uploaded logo at Logo URL to display site logo photo in Emails Delivery.
b) After that, Navigate to Delivery Options and here you can set the time for delivery of Email to your Subscribers. Note- Set your timezone and Scheduling according to your audience coming from. That’s it!
Troubleshoot: Repair your Feeds if not Working/Updating!
1. Try pinging FeedBurner using our Ping page. This action tells FeedBurner to go check your feed for updates immediately.
2. Hit the magical Resync Now button to
- Clears our cached version and refreshes its content from your Original Feed
- Creates podcast enclosures for items that did not previously have them and contain links to podcast content
- Reports any feed formatting problems encountered during the resync.
3. One can also Check feeds for validity problems at Original Feed Validity. If error reported, head to the help centre.
